August 01, 2010 - RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, 05 August 2010 – Qatar Under 17 team took their maiden silver at the 22nd Arab Squash Championship that took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia last week.

Qatar had a strong contingent competing in Under 13, Under 17 and Open.

It was the Under 17 team that beat hosts Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Kuwait to reach the final where they were beaten up by Egypt in a pool of five countries.

Qatar’s squad included: Abdulla Al Tamimi, Omer Ahmed, Abdulla Al Mass and Faisal Al Marri.

In all, eight countries contested in this event: Egypt – Jordan – Iraq – Kuwait – Palestine – Qatar – hosts Saudi Arabia and Sudan.
