DOHA, 26 June 2011 – A presentation and final ceremony of the “Protech Solutions Squash League” took place at the Qatar Squash Federation function room last Wednesday 22nd June and was attended by the General Manager of Protech Solutions Mr. Melvin Mathew who did the presentation.

Also present were the different teams and the committee members: Mr. Alaaeldeen Allouba, Mr. Mark Williams, Mr. Khaled Al Naas, and Ms. Sarah Farnworth.

The night started with a welcome speech by Mark Williams to all players that were present on the night. This was followed by the introduction of all teams for a memory team photo and later presentation for the wining and runner up teams, they were Dream team and Sheraton Sharks.

Then Alaaeldeen Allouba briefed the audience with the plans for the next season which will start sometime in September and will run until December. He added that there will be two divisions of seven teams in each division as much as possible and that it will be played on a home and away basis. Each team will be allowed to register 10 players.

After that Mark Williams played a DVD that is produced by the World Squash Federation (WSF) showing different situations for lets and strokes and all the players were involved to make their decisions before the correct one was shown as per the DVD, everyone was involved and was much appreciative of this demo.

This was followed by a lovely buffet were everyone enjoyed the food after which all left with nice memories to be remembered and everyone is looking forward for the new league.
